During the 1864-1947 an American producer named Henry Ford revolutionized the industry of the Model T. He used a method and created an assembly line, he made the model T so popular and low priced so everyone can have one. The Model T was mass produced and was made in America. Henry Ford was born in Dearborn on July 1863. He went to a rural school and had mechanical and incentive skills. In 1879 he moved over to Detroit to find a job and he got the job as a machinist’s apprentice. He then god married to this women called Clara J. Bryant on April 11 1888 later they moved to Detroit in 1891, after that two year later Henry Ford was chief engineer of this company called Edison Illuminating Company on was on Nov 6 1893 and hennery ford born a child called Edsel Bryant. The model T ford was also called “Tin Lizzie” or “Flivver’’ and the assembly line was a method to mass produce and save time to build a number of cars in a instinct. In 1908 a Model T was around $1000 but by 1924 the cheapest model was sold at $280. By 1919 3/5 of U.S. vehicles and one half of those in the entire world were Model T Fords. While Henry Ford was planning a new car, he went to a race in Florida where he saw a French car made of different steel and car parts that were way lighter than his own. Henry Ford learned that vanadium alloy had almost three times as much tensile strength no America knew how to make it so Henry ford set up a steel mill to make vanadium alloy and as a result Model T fords has survived up until now.

This topic I’ve chosen is related to Canadian history a lot because in today life we depend on automobile to get to place faster and on time. I think that the automobile changed because we need people to work in factories, have machines to build them, obtain gas and raw materials. The model T ford was one of the first cars built it affected other brands to make cars just as well as the creator of ford that started out the product line of cars in the industry. This method of producing is now used internationally because it can produce more in limited amount of time (mass production) can be sold with a cheaper price and then everyone can afford it. This connects to the present because we rely on automobile to get to places within limited amount of time.

SIGNIFICANCE

My Significance was that the automobiles were an easy way to get to one placed to another in a limited amount of time, this was able because of the assembly line and so he can mass produce model t fords. Henry Ford made it so everyone could afford a model t ford.
